Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group broke up prior to their appearance on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she served as the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics.
