The father of her is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish as well as English has a mother who is Irish and English. Plaza has graduated from a Catholic school that is all girls in 2002 and from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. The president was a member of her high school's student body and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year.
