Born on the 2nd of December, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model well known for her appearances on film and TV series. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. She began her acting career in New Zealand in the show Diplomatic Immunity. The actress was a part of a lot of television shows in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt is playing the role as Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her twenties. Her career began as model in print as well as commercial advertisements. She worked as an IT recruiting consultant and in retail before becoming famous as a fashion model. In 2009 she was cast on an New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her first big appearance was in 2021 as she played the part of a slave woman Naevia on the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen, a demon who seeks bounty on Netflix's top show Lucifer. Her biggest role is in this role. In the show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
