Asin Thottumkal was raised in the coastal region in Kerala in Cochin. She is part of a Malayalam family that includes her dad Joseph who works in business as well as her mother Seline, Dr. Seline. When she graduated of Naval Public School, she began her studies at St. Theresa's Higher Secondary School.
